The process is straightforward: the lash area is carefully cleansed, the lower lids are covered with special protective pads, and then our team of estheticians applies a professional tint that is gentle on the skin. After the application time, the area is cleansed thoroughly. For a first treatment or a sensitive eye area, we recommend a patch test 48 hours before your appointment. During pregnancy and while breastfeeding, a consultation beforehand is recommended.
The lash lift is the premium treatment in our range of lash treatments. In a lash lift, your own natural lashes are gently shaped into an evenly lifted, curved form using special lotions with active ingredients – so that the lashes look denser, longer, and fuller. Entirely without artificial eyelash extensions and entirely without mascara.
Unlike eyelash extensions with artificial hairs, a lash lift shapes only your own lashes – without putting mechanical strain on the lash follicles. The treatment is particularly suitable for clients with straight or downward-growing lashes, shorter lashes, or a wish for visible volume. People who wear glasses benefit too: lifted lashes no longer touch the lenses when you wear your glasses.
The process: the lashes are placed on a silicone pad and lifted, a first lotion does the shaping, and a second one sets the shape. Finally, a nourishing serum – with keratin if you wish – is applied. The lift can ideally be combined with a lash tint, both in one session of 30 minutes in total.

In a lash lift, your own natural lashes are shaped and lifted with lotions. No artificial hairs are attached, there is no strain on the lash follicles, and there are no regular refill appointments. With eyelash extensions – also known as lash extensions – individual synthetic lashes are glued onto the natural lashes. The result is visibly longer and fuller but requires time-consuming fill appointments every two to three weeks. In the long term, a weakening of the natural lashes has been documented with lash extensions.
Skinthetics Cosmetics deliberately does not offer glued-on lash extensions. Our focus is on enhancing your own lashes gently and in a lasting way.

Our team of estheticians looks at length, growth direction, hair structure, and the look you want, and uses this to make the right recommendation. The eye area is cleansed and makeup is removed. On the day of your treatment, please avoid wearing contact lenses if possible and come without mascara.
For lash tinting, the lower lids are covered with special protective pads, and then our team of estheticians applies the professional tint that is gentle on the skin. After an application time of 5-10 minutes, the area is carefully cleansed.
For a lash lift, the lashes are first lifted on a silicone pad. The first lotion shapes the form, the second sets the result – the treatment is completed with a nourishing serum. Your eyes stay closed throughout the treatment; many of our clients simply use the time to relax. You can resume your normal activities immediately afterward.
After a lash lift, you should avoid water, saunas, tanning beds, mascara, and eye makeup for 24 hours – this allows the new shape to set optimally. Regular brushing with a lash comb keeps the lashes in shape. After a lash tint, we recommend not cleansing the eye area intensively for the first 24 hours. Nourishing lash serums noticeably extend how long the results last.

A lash lift usually lasts 6-8 weeks – depending on your natural lash growth and your individual care routine. A refresher every 6-8 weeks is recommended.
A lash tint usually lasts 4-6 weeks. Skin type, care habits, and your cleansing routine influence how long it lasts. Frequent contact with water – for example during exercise – can make the color fade sooner.
When performed professionally with high-quality lotions, a lash lift is considered much gentler than regularly applying mascara or eyelash extensions with adhesive. We recommend an interval of 6-8 weeks between lifts.

For safety reasons, we do not offer eyelash treatments during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Contact lenses must be removed for the treatment. After the treatment and thorough cleansing of the lash area, they can be put back in without any problem. Lash tinting has no effect on how well you tolerate your lenses in the long term.
