HydraFacial is a patented treatment method developed in the USA that combines mechanical exfoliation, deep extraction, and the infusion of active ingredients in one non-invasive system. At its heart is Vortex vacuum technology: a special tip creates controlled suction that simultaneously removes dead skin cells, cleans out the pores, and delivers highly concentrated serums directly into the skin. Unlike classic manual facials, there is no manual squeezing of blackheads at all – the result is more even, and the treatment usually involves little discomfort. This makes the HydraFacial, with its 5-step system, one of the most versatile facials we offer at our cosmetic institute.

The HydraFacial follows a clearly structured process that works step by step toward the best possible result:

1. Lymphatic drainage:
First, blood circulation is stimulated and swelling is reduced. Particularly with sensitive skin that is prone to redness or blemishes, this step lays the ideal foundation for the deep cleansing that follows.

2. Exfoliation:
The Vortex tip gently removes dead skin cells and introduces the first active ingredients into the skin. This prepares the skin for the steps that follow.

3. GlySal acid peel:
A mild acid peel made of glycolic acid and salicylic acid loosens deposits in the pores and clears the way for the deep extraction that follows. If pigment spots are among your concerns alongside pores and blemishes, it is worth taking a look at our Cosmelan / pigmentation treatment.

4. Deep extraction:
Vortex extraction removes blackheads and sebum residue from the pores – a process that usually involves little discomfort and requires no manual squeezing. The result is noticeably clearer-looking skin without irritation.

5. Hydration:
In the final step, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, and vitamins are infused deep into the skin. This step creates the instant glow and long-lasting hydration of the skin. The result is visible right after the treatment: the skin looks clearer, more even, and noticeably fresher.

The HydraFacial is suitable for almost all skin types – regardless of age or skin texture. It is particularly beneficial for clients with blemish-prone skin and blackheads, couperose (visible small blood vessels) or skin prone to redness, enlarged pores, a dull or tired complexion, as well as first fine lines and a slight loss of volume.
The HydraFacial is also a proven choice in preparation for special occasions – a wedding, an important event. On request, the treatment can also be extended to the neck and décolleté.

For a more intensive peel in cases of pronounced blemishes, we also recommend our fruit acid treatment as a complementary option.

We do not recommend the treatment in cases of active skin infections, recent sunburn, an acute flare-up of inflammatory acne, or during pregnancy.

The Signature HydraFacial adds the Hydralock HA Booster to the five standard steps – a triple hyaluronic acid complex with vitamin B5 and fruit extracts.
This booster works on several layers of the skin at once and provides maximum rehydration, visibly plumper-looking skin, and a noticeable reduction in fine lines. The Signature HydraFacial is particularly suitable for dehydrated skin and mature skin, for an anti-aging focus, or before special occasions. Not every skin type needs the upgrade – our team will give you honest advice on whether the Hydralock HA Booster is worthwhile for your skin.

For optimal skin in the long term, we recommend a HydraFacial every four weeks – this matches the skin's natural renewal cycle of about 28 days.
For problem skin or in preparation for an event, we recommend starting with an initial course of three to four treatments at monthly intervals to provide targeted support for building up the skin.
After that, a maintenance treatment every four to six weeks is sufficient. To be honest: the effect of a single treatment lasts up to four weeks – but regular treatments are key to lasting visible improvements in your skin.

Together, we discuss your skin concerns and any previous medical findings. We then choose the right option together: the standard HydraFacial (€189), the Signature HydraFacial with Hydralock HA Booster (€229), or the extended treatment for face and neck (€289). If needed, we add specific boosters for anti-aging, evening out pigmentation, or clarifying. By the way, there is no need to remove your makeup before your appointment – we do that for you on site.

During the treatment, you can simply lie back and relax. All you feel is a gentle suction and massaging sensation – many of our clients find the treatment extremely pleasant. The standard HydraFacial takes 45 to 60 minutes, the Signature HydraFacial 60 to 75 minutes. On request, our estheticians can weave massage elements into individual steps. Throughout the entire treatment, we continuously monitor how your skin responds and adjust the intensity if needed. After the session, you can leave our institute right away – no makeup needed to cover up, no special precautions required for your trip home.

For the first 24 hours after your HydraFacial, we recommend avoiding exercise, saunas, and tanning beds. Because the skin is somewhat more sensitive to light after exfoliation and deep extraction, sunscreen with SPF 50 is especially important in the first few days.
