The anti-aging laser

Is your skin sun-damaged, tired and dull, and are the first fine lines starting to show? Would you like a radiant, even complexion without pigment spots? Then LaseMD could be the answer to your wishes. That's because LaseMD makes it possible to deliver active ingredients, known as cosmeceuticals, directly under the skin through microchannels.

This allows active ingredients to be used in a very targeted way, tailored precisely to your wishes. Some of the most frequently used active ingredients:

Resveratrol (RS) – against photoaging

The ampoules contain resveratrol with 95% purity. Resveratrol is a polyphenol that, together with low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, protects the skin from damage caused by UV radiation and photoaging. It has a strong antioxidant effect and fights free radicals in the skin. Resveratrol acts like built-in protection for the skin against damage from UV radiation. Polyphenols are the natural defense substances of plants, which they produce in response to stress, for example when the plant has to defend itself against pests. Resveratrol is found in large amounts in grapes, raspberries and white ginseng. It stimulates the skin's collagen production and thus supports healthy, even-looking skin.

Tranexamic acid (TS) – lightening pigmentation

Tranexamic acid was originally used to support wound healing after plastic surgery procedures. In the process, an unexpected side effect was discovered – the substance lightens the skin. Even in small amounts, the amino acid fades pigment spots and redness – also in combination with device-based methods. Since then, tranexamic acid has been used to treat melasma/chloasma and other pigmentation disorders. It can be used to treat hyperpigmentation or melasma caused, for example, by

  • UV radiation from sunlight
  • photosensitization, i.e., a lowering of the skin's threshold for reacting to light, e.g., due to essential oils
  • hormonal influences, e.g., during pregnancy

Vitamin C (VC) – antioxidant power for skin rejuvenation

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is one of the most powerful naturally occurring antioxidants, promoting healthy collagen structures and thus creating younger, healthier skin. Vitamin C also helps rejuvenate sun-damaged, aged skin. Most people know vitamin C from citrus fruits. In cosmetics, it has only recently been discovered as a way to combat premature skin aging. It protects against harmful environmental influences, makes the skin look more even and strengthens it in the long term. In high concentrations, it can also reduce skin problems such as pigment spots and acne marks.

Vitamin A (VA) – improving skin appearance

Retinol – also known as vitamin A – rejuvenates aging skin naturally. Retinol improves aging skin by activating and stimulating genes that support the formation of skin cells and thus the regeneration process. The active ingredient helps build up skin texture, refines the pores and makes the skin visibly smoother. Because retinol stimulates the production of healthy skin cells and regulates cell functions, it is also used for blemish-prone skin.
